Swimming Teacher
Ashville Sports Centre is looking to appoint Level 1 and 2 Swimming Teachers (or someone with an interest willing to train) to help teach and coach people of all ages and abilities to develop swimming skills, technique, and confidence in the water.
The successful candidates will need to be good communicators and can inspire confidence and motivate swimmers.
The swim school runs on Tuesdays 5:10pm – 7:15pm, Fridays 4:30pm – 7:15pm and Saturdays 9:00am – 12 noon.
Hours of work to be agreed at interview.
This is a term-time only position, with flexibility to cover other teachers as required during periods of holiday or other absence.

Swimming Teacher Candidate Pack
Sports Assistant
Ashville Sports Centre, Harrogate, is looking for NPLQ-qualified Lifeguards to join our team as a Sports Assistant.
In this role, you’ll not only perform lifeguarding duties but also help create a friendly, welcoming experience for all our visitors. You’ll support the smooth running of the Sports Centre by maintaining safe and clean facilities, delivering excellent customer service, and working as part of a team.

The role is offered with various shifts, particularly looking for early morning and weekend availability.
The salary for this role is £11 for Under 18’s, £11.35 for 18 – 21 year olds, and £13 for 21+ year olds.

Duty Manager
Ashville Sports Centre in Harrogate, is looking to appoint Duty Managers to join the busy Sports Centre Team.
The Duty Manager will support the Sports Centre Manager to ensure the smooth running of the Sports Centre.
Experience of working in the leisure industry, working as part of a team and being able to deal with emergency situations are essential for this role.
This role covers Saturday shifts 1.30pm – 9.45pm.
The wage for this role is £14.50 per hour.

Aquatics Fitness Instructor
Ashville Sports Centre, is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Aquatics Fitness Trainer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting water-based fitness classes, ensuring the safety of all participants, and promoting a fun and relaxing environment for our members.
Strong knowledge of water-based exercises and having excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with previous experience as an Aquafit Instructor or similar role are highly desirable.
The rate of pay for this role is £25 per session.
